This was it. The Matheran trip was finally happening and everything was going smooth this time. There was all hurry around the house as everyone was busy packing and preparing. We were to leave early morning the next day, i.e., Friday. Now, towards the evening, sister suddenly has temperature of 101 degrees. Hence, we rush to the doc. He advises extra medicine, since we were to go to a chilly place. And yeah, sis had throat infection btw. However, her temp just refuses to subside. Finally at around 9pm, its decided that sis wont be able to make it to Matheran. Thus begins the same old saga, me refusing to budge while everyone else tries to convince me otherwise. What i suggested was that we cancel the tickets and go next week, but that seemed impracticle.

Dad came home and then, i was powerless. We left without sis and aunt…..
