Review:

1st Half

The movie immediately starts on a comic note with a statue shown narrating the story to an intrigued reporter. Ranbir/Prem is shown as a job-less graduate who is also the President of a so called Happy Club. Their office is situated in a coffin shop. Now, Ranbir and gang want to add more members so that they can get more money. So, they resort to duping people, which also leads to some hilarious sequences. The aim of Happy Club is to keep people happy and also help two lovers meet. It is during one of these missions that Ranbir bumps into Katrina Kaif/Jennifer. From here, its all about Ranbir trying to woo this girl in different ways. Also, watch out for those Ranbir-and-his-dad sequences… they’ll make you fall out of even the large multiplex seats. The Salman Khan scene is equally awesome. The first half ends with a twist in the tale. Enter: Upen Patel, the guy Katrina loves.

Songs in the first half: Aa Jao Meri TamannaTera Hone Lagaa Hoon and Prem Ki Naiyya.

2nd Half

This part is rather boring as it comes down to the typical bollywood-style-drama, i.e., Guy1 loves Girl, Girl loves Guy2, Guy1 anyways helps girl marry Guy2 and so on… Although, this film packs in various comic scenes even in this situation…

The END is rather disappointing given the quality of the rest of the film. Girl realizes at the Marriage ceremony that she actually loves Guy1, so she runs away mid-marriage, leaving Guy2 wondering why he even chose to do the film :P

All in all, its an amazing film that you should watch at least once…in a theater please! :D

PEACE!
