Life on Urban Wheels.
The V Day, and more.

The much awaited day for the ‘netas’ has arrived. As i post this entry, their fate, sealed in off-white electronic vote machines, is probably on the way to the vote-counting centres.

Amidst much fan-fare, the assembly elections have passed. Now, its fest time. 4 days of Diwali and then, there’s the term end for me (not a public holiday, mind you)… Sometimes, we wonder how time, literally flies…

I feel as if it were just yesterday that the college re-opened for the Semester 3, there were cries of “It’s been so long since we last met, you’ve changed (or, you’ve not changed, whichever applicable)!” all around. And now, here i am, standing right at the end of my term, and the beginning of another month of exams, practicals and vivas… Not to forget, those assignments and submissions. When in school, we had homework, which changed to home assignments in Junior College (or High School) and then, it got shorter, just “Assignments”. So, its just a legacy, a burden, that we’ve been carrying right from K.G. till now, and i am sure we will, further as well.

So, thats about all what i want to share right now, as for the ‘netas’, today’s V DAY just marks the beginning of a long and painful wait for the results…
